Street Styling: Afterthoughts & New Territory !
Dear NYC,
I’ll miss you in all your flavors! Thank you for being such an ideal ground for my sport…
providing dramatic backdrops and inspiration… from your UES sophistication to your village edge…
URBAN JUNGLE to PARK…
Speechlessly grateful but still kinda mad about that polar vortex!
With love,

Haute Couture #tbt
Since I’m avoiding ice-skating (more like ice-slipping!) on the black ice covering Manhattan today and because it’s Thursday! I thought it would be a good occasion for some tbt…
Here’s one of my very modest attempts at Haute Couture for a gown I wore as a bridesmaid for my little sister’s wedding in summer 2012. With the assistance of an up and coming lebanese designer (Ghassan Antonios), I was able to create a gown inspired by Marie Antoinette gowns’ silhouette. What made me go back in time and take a look at my sister’s wedding photos is the fact that this very similar style has been making a come back on Elie Saab’s runway both for his SS 2013 and the very recent SS 2014. Nice try, though I admit I still have a very long way before comparing my creations to ES’s! Always in awe of ES!
