I got back a week ago from a trip to Dubai’s Palm Islands and we’ve been blessed with unseasonably warm weather in London so I didn’t quite get a chance to miss Dubai’s sunny charm… until this morning! Headed out early with the kids for breakfast and a familiar windy & cold London combo enrobed our walk… the city is blossoming however (see last pic) so we still decided to walk… Nevertheless, as soon as I got to the resto I took refuge in my iPhone’s Dubai snaps for some warmth!
For my OOTD I got inspired by the weather and the comeback of the jupe-culotte at the latest PFW…
So had to rush to the mall today for some last minute Christmas shopping to tick ✔️ all the boxes left on my list… all while still having to deal with my baby’s separation anxiety! My 8 month old won’t leave me alone these days not even for a 5 sec streetstyle pic! (more on that challenge with baby soon…well that’s if she gives me some time to type it up!)
Just landed in Beirut a few hours ago and the ingredients for the typical Lebanese holiday have already been served: family, kids, cruising, hairdressers and makeup artists! Voluminous hair and a whole lot of makeup is the way to go if you’re aiming for a quintessential Lebanese look!

It’s clear by now that luxury sneakers are here to stay… they’re getting better each season and all the big names are joining the game! While technically you may be able to wear some of them to the gym, you may want to save them to add some edge and comfort to an otherwise traditional glamor look. In choosing your OOTD involving haute sneakers, remember that they provide quite a strong contrast and statement by themselves, so you’ll need to be careful not to overload the rest of the look to keep the overall effect balanced and give them the spotlight they deserve. In addition to my picks above, I can’t wait to try on a pair of sneakers from the new colorful Mary Katrantzou x Adidas collection.
Long shunned by a younger me as dated and dull, one-piece swimsuits have not only made a comeback in fashion generally but I have found myself naturally leaning towards them now that I have two kids to minimize perpetual wardrobe malfunctions. Thanks to the many original one-pieces these days (with retro looks being my favorite) you can still make your fashion beach splash while splashing in peace with your kids!
