Provence ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท to Portofino โ›ต๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น via St Tropez ๐Ÿ‘™

My Provence lavender hunt obsession led me to the Abbaye de Sรฉnanque and while the lavender wasn’t in full bloom, the setting was still picturesque…

Provence is not just about vinyards & purple love, its palette is rich in colors and I particulaly โค๏ธ this red hot cherry ๐Ÿ’ tree! so much that I actually fell into a ditch (and broke my phone’s screen ๐Ÿ˜ก) as I was trying to capture its beauty!

Gordes… Gorgeous!

Couldn’t resist sharing this with my little ones so it was time for a quick Skype!

Here’s me practicing my favorite St Tropez passtime: people watching! ๐Ÿ˜

The next day it was time to drive off to Italy but not before we stopped @ a random beach near St Tropez where tanners of all ages seemed to take issue with the idea of a swimsuit!

And we finally arrived in Italia ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น…

After a long drive it was Pesto time in Portofino ! ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น

Nature’s splendid beauty was drawing me to it and away from all stress…

Flowers ๐ŸŒธ & Trees ๐ŸŒด in magical harmony…

Lemon trees ๐Ÿ‹ & jasmine … a perfect blend of sents!

Piscina & mare

๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒธa fitting entrance to the Spa (which I desperately needed to end my day) ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒธ

Tasting, Breathing & Dipping in Provence ๐Ÿ‡๐Ÿท๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒพ

Appetizer: une tarte salรฉe

We started our Provence tour in Avignon where a local chef cooked for us a delicious provincial meal in a 14th century cuisine in the basement of La Mirande (an old cardinal’s palace across from the Popes Palace)

The description of the dish by the chef is way too long to include in a caption ๐Ÿ˜

Some wine tasting straight from the cave …

A stroll in the garden to take in the sents of les herbes de provence

Provinรงal dessert…

Next stop was La Bastide de Marie in Mรฉnerbes (Luberon)

La Roulotte … our tree house for the night!

of course, matching my outfit ๐Ÿ˜‰

Cute cozy randomness abound inside!

Some turquoise energy…

Some lavender energy…

Bonnenuit ๐Ÿท! Next stop: Bonnieux

To be continued…

Neutral Essentials

It’s always key to keep some neutral items in your wardrobe to style into an OOTD meant to focus on other statement piece(s). My favorite neutrals this summer are body tank tops which while remaining discreet can still leverage your body’s own curves while bringing back that 90s vibe…

When out and about in Beirut…

…and then to take in Lebanon’s colorful palette ๐ŸŽจ I sported this plissรฉ midi skirt which earned me the nickname “Crayola” โœ๏ธ๐ŸŒˆ by my MOL (or did she say “Cruela”?!? ๐Ÿ‘ฟ)

๐Ÿ‘ฏ Walking in๐Ÿ‘ฃ Daddy’s Steps ๐ŸŽ“

Since we’re kicking off our summer in Beirut and right in time for this weekend’s Father’s Day, we thought we’d take the kids for a stroll in the gorgeous AUB Mediterranean campus, where their dad did his freshman year… Memories, nature, stories, โ˜€๏ธ, endless questions (e.g. papa, c’est lร  que tu prenais le goรปter?; elle est oรน la classe de papa?), mischief & dreams… ๐Ÿš€

Summer Packing โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŽ’โ˜€๏ธ

#HappySunday #Summer #OnTheWay #PackingParty #GoesOn …                                                                                 For this summer, I am aiming for โžก๏ธ ๐Ÿ˜Ž #cool ๐Ÿ˜Ž ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ #comfortable ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ. Not compromising on comfort while trying to keep a minimum of style, this summer the first items on my packing checklist are ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ my classic trainers that I am looking forward to pair with almost EVERYTHING in my wardrobe, even with that flowy summer dress! #summer #style #challenge ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ ๐Ÿ‘ˆ๐Ÿป thoughts?
